My work aims to reflect common / personal concerns and appreciation for the electronic age, and how it may affect our culture.

With the digital domain upon us, there is a potential scenario where tools could be put down for the uptake of a keyboard, where printmakers were once anxious to get 'the right print finish' from analogue prints, computers can deliver repeatedly precise reproductions which can create a similar effect to that of the screen-print or an intaglio press.

'However in reality, the desired effect has not been established, the traditional print qualities have a nature of their own that digital imaging can only mimic, and not reproduce.'

Incorporating a mixture of digital and traditional techniques has the desire to strengthen the communication between the artist and the viewer.

My collection of prints anticipate the question, 'whether the digital age is beneficial, or has it deepened class structures between East and West'. I am not under the illusion that progress will stop, or presume that I have any firm resolve for the future of world economy. Politics, technology and the arts are part of the everyday, and for an artist to visualise and exhibit their concerns would be deemed a duty.
